ABOUT
In 2017 ATOM theatre, Lili Jungin Lee and Seoul International Choreography Festival (SCF) join their efforts to create ~ ATOM CHOREOGRAPHIC SERIES – an international exchange platform for professional dancers and choreographers. The concept is to provide with space for dancing and to explore the artistic processes in the creation of a dance. The aim of it is simply to encourage the free sharing of ideas. The mission of the project is to support the creation of a dance, its performance, and its self-preservation through cooperation and education.
Lee Jung In is a choreographer, Dancer, teacher who is mainly work based in Korea, and Europe. She worked with various projects and companies in national and abroad such as Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, international project in Berlin and Eastern Europe. From 2016, she started to make collaboration work with Atom Theater in Sofia (BG) and work as an artistic member of Redsapata -Tanzfabrik in Linz (AT). Also, under the numerous dance experiences, she is working with Seoul International Choreography Festival as an International Executive committee member to propose new artistic vision in Globalization.
SCF (Seoul International Choreography Festival) as highly been esteemed as choreography festival among dance artists since it was launched in 1991. The festival held in Seoul, Korea brings more or less forty dance works every year created by local and foreign choreographers whose artistry recognized as of high quality. SCF is the very valuable opportunity for contestants to experience the new world as well as to contribute to the flourishing exchange programs at international level. SCF offers great opportunities for choreographers and dance company to expand the work in abroad, and try to support the vision of new contemporary dance in globalization.
SCF and Atom Theater maintain a close collaboration with each other and try to discover talented choreographer to promote artistic growth.
