Petya STOYKOVA

Petya Stoykova is the founder and a choreographer at Dune Dance Company. The company has nearly 30 years of history. In addition to creation of over 15 author performances, Dune have also realized numerous projects for the development of the Bulgarian contemporary dance as “Dance BG” Association. She teaches contemporary dance in Burgas and is a guest-teacher in international dance projects in Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine. Senegal, Kenya. She took her dance education at New Bulgarian University and was a scholar of international dance programs around the world – Dance web, Balkan dance platform and others. He is a UNESCO student for an artistic residence in Senegal, Ixkizit, France, and a Balkan Dance Platform, Romania. She was awarded the Choreography Award “Margarita Arnaudova” 1999 and received numerous international awards for the achievements of Dune Dance School. Together with Iosif Astrukov they have created author dance movies, two of which are presented in the accompanying program of the Golden Rose festival in 2017. Their artistic cooperation starts with 2004 Summer Jam – international dance camp projects. and “Video and Dance lab” in 2006.
